Lars Communications work closely with sister company XI Training - the country's leading height safety, fall prevention, fall protection and first aid training provider. All Lars climbing staff are trained to ASET Level 3 standard, MOD SRP07 (AC1 Level), and key staff are trained to BS7985:2000.  All of our staff involved with any aspect of work at height are fully conversant with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

All Lars staff are formally inducted and follow a well planned training program throughout their career with the company. It is company policy to provide all the necessary training to its employees to encourage continuous improvement and job progression where possible. Furthermore, Lars are Investors in People. We have made a written commitment to work towards investing effectively in all its employees.

Investors in People is an international quality standard and is the only one that focuses specifically on people.  It was developed after research into high performing businesses and identifying what made them more successful.  The conclusions of the research were that technology and equipment were important, but what made the biggest impact were the skills and involvement of the people in an organisation.

The standard requires that clear business objectives are identified.  These must be communicated to all the people in order that they clearly understand how they can contribute to the success.  People must also receive feedback on how well they are doing their jobs and be encouraged to continuously progress.
