LARS Communications Retains ISO Certifications
26 July 2021
We are thrilled to announce that we have recently retained our ISO certifications – ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001. ISO certification is one of the most widely recognised and internationally renowned standards, covering our quality management standards, environmental responsibilities, security management systems and health and safety standards.
These ISO certifications reflect our commitment to quality in every area of the business. By meeting their extensive criteria, we are clearly demonstrating that we strive for continuous improvement in order to deliver quality outcomes for our customers, suppliers and all other stakeholders.
To achieve them, we were required to satisfy the auditors from ACM Limited. ACM Limited is a UKAS-accredited certification body working with businesses around the world to perform to a higher standard.
Our ISO Certifications
ISO 9001 certification is the internationally recognised standard for quality management and a particularly powerful tool for business improvement. So much so, that it’s been implemented by over 1.1 million organisations worldwide.
The clear framework of principles helps us to continually improve and streamline operations, reduce costs, demonstrate strong governance and work effectively with our stakeholders and our supply chain.
Our ISO 14001 certification, the internationally recognised system for environmental management, demonstrates our commitment to the environment, thereby providing assurances to all of our stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
ISO 27001 certification is one of the most widely recognised and internationally accepted information security standards. It provides an extensive framework for managing valuable assets, such as financial data, intellectual property, employee details and information entrusted by third parties.
Compliance with this standard confirms LARS Communications’ security management system is comprehensive and follows leading practices.
ISO 45001 is the newest global health and safety management standard. It sets out requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and enables organisations of any size or type to improve their OH&S performance, thereby preventing injury and illness at work.
These certifications represent the significant investment and commitment we have made towards demonstrating that we have the very best systems in place, so we’d like to say a huge thank you to everybody at LARS for their hard work in making this possible.
